Different properties earn differently — so they're priced differently. Each model is designed to align with how that asset type generates revenue.
Standard residential units billed monthly per occupied unit.
KES 100 / unit + KES 50 per additional paying tenant (e.g. two students sharing a room). Family members or personal guests do not count as extra tenants.
Offices and retail spaces actively receiving monthly rent. Units listed for sale attract a success fee on closing — no monthly charge while vacant.
We list and market your units for sale. A mutually agreed fee is charged only when a sale is successfully completed — no monthly charges.

Is there a monthly subscription or platform fee?
No platform subscription. You pay only for what you use — per occupied unit per month, per occupied night (Airbnb), or a success fee on completed sales.
What does the setup fee cover?
The one-time setup fee covers professional photography of your units and property, branded Apartment ID posters for marketing, data entry of your existing tenants, and full system configuration. The fee is determined during your onboarding call based on the number of properties and units.
How does double-occupancy pricing work?
For rental units with more than one paying tenant — for example, two students sharing a room — the rate is KES 100 for the unit plus KES 50 per additional real tenant. Family members and personal guests of the main tenant do not count as extra tenants.
How is the success fee for sales determined?
For Residential for Sale, Commercial listings, and AHP first-time sales, the success fee is agreed between you and Teknant before listing. It is charged only when a sale is successfully completed — no fee if the unit does not sell.
For Airbnb units, what counts as an occupied night?
Any night a guest is checked in and the unit is actively occupied. Nights the property is vacant or blocked cost nothing.
Do tenants pay anything?
No. The tenant mobile app is completely free for your tenants.
Are M-Pesa payment gateway fees included?
M-Pesa and bank payment gateway fees are charged separately at provider rates — typically 1–2% of the transaction value.
